The Freepers are here, Kristinn--we don't need the drive-by media. Why would they care that Gold Star parents are in Iraq to see for themselves what our troops are doing--it's the only way we'll ever find out.

What an incredible opportunity you have to be included in their pilgrimage. Our prayers are with all of you and please ask them to hug as many of our heroes as possible. We're all hoping and praying that the election goes well today. We can't abandon our troops and the Iraqis.

Hope Allegra catches up with you!

God Bless You All! And please stay safe.

This is John Holley,

We should not abandom the Iraqis.

The Iraqi people that we have met from the highest officials to the poorest and most preyed upon by Saddam
do not want us to leave.

They are afraid of what will happen to them. Remember Saddam is still alive.

Lets say that he is not executed and we leave and by some twist of fate he is freed or someone equally evil takes over, can you imagine what would happen?

They are all so grateful for the sacrafice that our troops have made so that they are now free.

What we saw today broke our hearts and at the same time gladdened them.

We saw so many children, some have never seen an American before and yet they loved seeing us.

You can always tell by a child's reaction to you what the parents have been telling them about that person.

So the parents evidently have been saying good things about Americans.

I wanted to see them so bad when I came here because my son liked them so much.

On one of his last phone calls he asked for my wife and I to send crayons so he could teach them to draw.

So in seeing them today, I could see my son in a photo I have of him surrounded by children.

Also remember that we fought WWII 60 years ago and we still have troops in Japan and Germany.
