If they absolutely MUST have a response, they should have asked for something that had nothing to do with the principal. The idea of this was totally idiotic. The person who dreamed this up should have been suspended.
Exactly. This is an absurdity.
In third grade, my son did poorly on the writing portion of a standardized test because he was supposed to write about this:
"Who is your favorite teacher and why?"
He told me that he didn't have a favorite teacher, so he didn't know what to write. His grade got knocked down because his reasons weren't very detailed.
I thought it was a stupid thing to write about.
