I voted early.
So far, south of Chicago,
turn-out's very light.
My precinct had one
electric voting machine
and some 'normal' ones.
Senior citizens
running the place had trouble
with the computers,
so I opted for
a regular paper thing.
Staight Republican,
and I voted to
kick out _all_ the judge just
to get in new blood . . .
I voted here in Freeport. My precinct is one of the sleepiest in the county, but tends to vote heavily conservative. Turnout was very heavy. There wasn't a line, but I was voter 50 and the staff there told me that was a lot of voters for 9am in any election, much less a mid-term.
