DEMOCRATS SEND CEASE-AND-DESIST LETTER TO REPUBLICAN CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE OVER AUTOMATED PHONE CALLS TO VOTERS
The Dems do that so well.
Like Dems concern that GOP will steal the election "again".
I always hear this from Dems when it's pretty clear that most of the voter registration and voting problems come from the Dems. Why is it the GOP doesn't constantly attack the Dems attempt at fraud and dirty tricks?
Or what? Your going to take over the house and senate????
They really are the opposition party aren't they.
Does anyone have the actual letter the Republicans wrote to the Democrats about this?
It was just posted and got pulled, presumably because it was a duplicate to this thread. But I can't find the actual letter on this thread and it was a beauty!
The Republican attorney told the Rats that he was certain the Robo calling was legal because it's a copy of what the Rats are doing themselves. ROFL
I can't imagine that an automated call would change anyone's mind,
Didn't you know that one can be put into a trance by effective callers. Rumors have it that Rove hired 50,000 trance experts and this is why the Dems are writting cease and desist letters to the RNC. It works. I used to be a communist but one of Reagans trance calls turned me into a republican.
FIX TITLE - GOP REPLY IS AT 95 NOT 92
Just heard BJ's voice and slammed the phone down. Now I'll have to wash my ear out with bleach...ick!
Northern Virginia area, here.....

Hmmmmmm, I'm getting more calls from Democrats than Republicans. Where can I sign up to sue?
Nonsense, Republicans can't be doing that, they're too busy tampering with voting machines.
No need to tamper with em. They leave the factory with a GOP Only setting. I am the family calibrator technician.

In Fact, with respect to telephone disclaimers, we have simply copied what you own national committee does. I have a recording of a pre-recorded phone message from DNC counsel Joe Sandler which contains the same sorts of disclaimers (including placement) as NRCC calls. Maybe you ought to send a letter to the DNC as well?"
Those two paragraphs are a thing of beauty. ROFL
And I'd bet money that it's Counsel for Republicans, not Council for Republicans, which shows the education level of this reporter.
HAAAA!
LOL!
Who was calling him?
We've gotten a TON of automated calls the past few days - much more than ever before pre-election - our machine took 11 just today, from both sides of the aisle.
Did you mean that dems vote Wednesday?
Yes, pass the word. To help avoid the long lines, Dems will vote Wednesday, Nov. 8th.
Can I get me one of those things for the calls I've gotten from Bill Clinton and his goons telling me not to vote for Curt Weldon??
Person claiming to be "The virginia elections commission". Whomever it was had to have had some data. He used to live in NY 16 years ago. This one I find sleazy and unacceptable. Robocalls are one thing, but threatening arrest to legal voters with bogus credentials is pushing it to far.
Wow, is he registered republican?
