"Republican Sen. George Allen leads Jim Webb in Virginia and Republican Bob Corker leads Harold Ford in Tennessee by identical 49%-46% margins."

That's bizarre. I can't believe that Corker and Allen will win by identical margins.

Didnt we read about 20 minutes ago that "Webb surges ahead of Allen?" All these polls are making me dizzy! ;) Just goes to show we probably can't trust any of them. Just work, contribute, and vote.

49 to 46% leaves 5% other or undecided. I read that the third-party candidate in Virginia might drop out of the race but don't know if she actually did so. In Tennessee it's a two man race (I think there are a few other names on the ballot but just vanity candidates). Corker should get over 50%...Allen could win with less than 50%, which isn't important as long as he doesn't lose.

I guess there could be identical margins--51.5/48.5 and 49/46/5, but it's not likely.
