Minister Lieberman Calls for Separation from Arabs
Arutz Sheva ^ | 10:51 Nov 05, '06 / 14 Cheshvan 5767 | by Hillel Fendel

Just days after joining the government, Avigdor Lieberman has set the national agenda - at least for the day. His statement that Arabs must be separated from Israel has become the talk of the town.

Lieberman, Israel's Minister for Strategic Affairs, told The Sunday Telegraph's Jerusalem correspondent that the best way to achieve peace in the Middle East would be for Jews and Arabs - including Israeli-Arabs - to live apart.

The remarks drew a storm of protest from the left-wing. MK Dov Hanin of the joint Arab-Israeli Hadash party said that Lieberman should be fired for his racist remarks. Meretz MK Zahava Gal'on added, "Lieberman was always a Kahanist, and remains a Kahanist."

MK Uri Ariel (National Union), on the other hand, justified Lieberman's position: "His words about the threat presented by Israeli-Arabs to the physical existence of the State of Israel are correct. Now that he has entered the government, it remains only for us to see which of his plans he will actualize to deal with this threat."

"We established Israel as a Jewish country," Lieberman said. "I want to provide an Israel that is a Jewish, Zionist country. It's about what kind of country we want to see in the future. Either it will be an [ethnically mixed] country like any other, or it will continue as a Jewish country."

In Favor of Territorial Exchange Lieberman disagrees with most of his right-wing colleagues in one aspect of his "separation" plan between Israeli Jews and Arabs. While most of the right-wing recognizes Jordan as the original Palestinian state, and some, such as MK Benny Elon, would leave many Arabs in Judea and Samaria as a "sub-state" of Jordan, Lieberman wishes to trade Israeli-Arab populated areas for Jewish areas of Judea and Samaria.

Specifically, Lieberman would hand over the Um El-Fahm area of the southern Galilee, known as the Triangle, to foreign sovereignty. By thus redrawing Israel's borders, he wishes to retain Israel's overwhelming Jewish majority.

Speaking today with Army Radio, Lieberman explained, "The exchange of territories and populations will help us form a Jewish, homogeneous state. We promised to establish a Palestinian state free of Jews, but in the meanwhile, we ourselves are turning into a bi-national state with a minority of more than 20% Arabs."

The Cyprus Model "Minorities are the biggest problem in the world," Lieberman told the newspaper. "I think separation between two nations is the best solution. Cyprus is the best model. Before 1974, the Greeks and Turks lived together and there were frictions and bloodshed and terror. After 1974, they constituted all Turks on one part of the island, all Greeks on the other part of the island and there is stability and security." Acknowledging that this involved the forcible eviction of thousands, he said that in any event, "the final result was better."

The Telegraph writes in the name of "analysts" that the "smooth appointment [to the government] of a man recently considered an extremist rabble-rouser is a sign of political radicalization in Israel." Tel Aviv University political science professor Gideon Doron is quoted as saying, "After the summer war in Lebanon, many Israelis have moved to the Right. They think security is bad and trust Palestinians and Arabs less. They don't believe in the possibility of peace through negotiations, so Lieberman has become the center of a new consensus."

Lieberman, the head of the Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel Our Home) party, also had some strong words for Iran. Israel is on the "front line of a clash of civilizations between the free world and extremist Islam," he said, adding that Iran is "the base of an axis of evil which is a problem for all the world."

"Every week, the president of Iran declares his intention to destroy us," Lieberman said.

Lieberman called upon the international community to unite against "an axis of evil led by Iran. Iran is the biggest threat. It's a problem for the whole world, but Israel really has a bad location. We are on the front line between the clash of civilizations between the free world and the extremist Islamic world."

I agree. Israel cannot exist as a bi-national state for long. I am in favor of redrawing Israel's borders to hand over the Little Triangle in the Galilee to the Arabs and annex the Jewish towns and villages in Judea and Samaria to Israel. This would ensure Israel's future as a homogeneous Jewish State. The only question is when Israel will be separated from the Arab Fifth Column inside her. It will happen soon than later.

Lieberman is spot on. Certainly a smart choice by Olmert to bring him in, but nontheless Olmert and the rest of the Kadima Crowd have to go. Israel needs Netanyahu and Lieberman.

Why force people that want to kill you to live with those being killed? All they want to do is eradicate the Jews. Keep em separate. Or do opponents want Jews eradicated? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Arab Knesset members and municipal council heads from the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee are demonstrating near the Knesset to protest the addition of MK Avigdor Lieberman to the government.

Arab Knesset members aiding terrorists must be stripped of citzenship - tried for treason - and executed
July 25, 2006

MIM: A month before Hezbollah attacked Israel Avigdor Lieberman the head of the Russian party Yisroel Beieninu- Israel is ours called for the execution of Arab members of the Israeli Knesset who supported terror. The membership of Arabs in the Knesset, a known fifth column, has long been a travesty.

One Knesset member, Mahmoud Taba, advised terrorists on an Islamist website to kidnap Israeli soldiers, a few days later a IDF base was attacked and 2 soldiers were killed and Corporal Gilad Shalit was dragged into Gaza where he remains to this day. No word has been given as to his condition or if he is alive. Less then two weeks after the Shalit kidnapping, Hezbollah attacked Israeli soldiers over the Lebanese border killing 8 and taking 2 hostage. Israeli troops were sent into Lebanon and pitched battles are raging .

Which begs the question :How can Israel win a war in Lebanon against terrorists and their supporters when they are sitting in the Knesset in Jerusalem? Avigdor Lieberman and several of his party members have taken the initiative and called for the trial and execution of Arab Knesset members for treason.

MIM is providing a list of Arab Knesset members with background information along with statements they have made exhorting fellow Arabs to attack Israel and meeting with terrorists in order to help them carry out their aim of annihilating the Jewish State:

MIM: Excerpts of articles calling for execution and of Arab members of the Israeli Knesset who have committed treason. Revoking the citizenship of Arab members of the Israeli Knesset for committing treason by calling for the destruction of the country in whose government they sit ,and actively collaborating with terrorists to acheive this end is an absurdity which defies comment...

Kahanism
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - Cite This Source

Kahanism is a term used in Israeli political parlance to refer, first of all, to the ideology of Rabbi Meir Kahane, and, more generally, to other right-wing Religious Zionist movements or groups that share a belief in the fundamental tenets of that ideology, chief among them being the idea that the State of Israel should be governed theocratically, should accord full citizenship exclusively to Jews, and that all non-Jews should be either deported or allowed to remain as resident aliens with full economic and personal rights, but no political rights.
Premises
The central claim of Kahanism is that all Arabs are, and will continue to be, enemies of Jews and of Israel, and that a Jewish fundamentalist state, absent of an Arab population and that includes Israel, the West Bank and Gaza Strip and also possibly areas of modern-day Jordan, should be created. The Kahanist movement proper also argues that such a state should be ruled according to Jewish theocratic law known as Halakha, but the term "Kahanist" is sometimes used loosely to describe any Zionist group which seeks a (often Arab-free) Greater Israel.

Outlawed
Since 1985, the State of Israel has outlawed groups espousing Kahane's ideology as being racist, and forbids their participating in the Israeli government. The Kach party was banned from running for the Knesset in 1988, while the existence of the two Kahanist movements formed following Kahane's assassination were proclaimed illegal terrorist organizations in 1994 and the groups subsequently officially disbanded.

The banning of Kahanist groups is highly controversial. The banning stemmed from the explicit mention of the Arab population as enemies of the Jews who should be removed from Israel. Kahanists however deny any inherent racism and explain that the call to remove Arabs is based on the reality of Arab-Israeli Conflict and not on any inherent racism towards Arabs. Critics of the banning note that parties who have called for and subsequently carried out the forced removal of Jews have not been called racist let alone banned...

Guess I'm a Kahanist then...

"Every week, the president of Iran declares his intention to destroy us," Lieberman said.

(Glad some one is paying attention.) The fact is that if Israel becomes a "multicultural" country instead of a Jewish State, it will cease to be a Jewish homeland very quickly and no safer for Jews than any other arab dominated hellhole.
