Saddam trial judge ejects Ramsey Clark

BAGHDAD, Nov 5 (Reuters) - The judge presiding over the trial of Saddam Hussein and seven others on charges of crimes against humanity ejected former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark from the court on Sunday for insulting the tribunal.

Clark, who heads an international team of lawyers involved in the defence, was ejected at the start of a hearing at which Saddam and two aides were convicted and sentenced to death.

The judge, Raouf Abdul Rahman, ejected Clark because he had sent a memo to Abdul Rahman including the accusation that the tribunal was making "a mockery of justice".

The judge told him in Arabic: "No, you are the mockery ... get him out, out."

Abdul Rahman then shouted in English: "Out! Out!"

"You come from America and ridicule the Iraqi people," he said.

Clark had earlier said the trial was politically influenced, and that if Saddam were sentenced to death, it would be "victors' justice".

"J. Edgar Hoover's boss for any practical purpose."

J. Edgar didn't have a boss. That's because he had files on everybody, including Clark.

"...former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark..."

I nominate that this standard biographic phrase included in all stories about his repulsive antics be corrected to describe him as

"...Democrat and former U.S. attorney general Ramsey Clark..."

Atomic, you suggested re Ramsey Clark...Maybe Clark's stupidly dogmatic anti-Americanism is really a strangled cry for help...

Respectfully, I disagree.

The more likely case is that he was simply a "sleeper".

It might be more than interesting to read his FBI file, might'nt it?

That's another good possibility. He was definitely a red diaper baby. His father, Supreme Court Justice Tom Clark, was a noted liberal, leaning toward the far left. Harry Truman is said to have remarked that appointing the elder Clark to the Court was the worst mistake he ever made.

What a pathetic fool he is.

Yep former Attorney General too. I guess we are not allowed to mention which party though, wouldn't be appropriate.

Clark is a traitor.

Nope firing MacArthur, instead of taking on communism.

Yes, Ramsey Clark is a pathetic fool. But he is a fool with a msm audience. If ever there was a man in need of a full psychiatric exam, it is Ramsey Clark. It continues to shock me that he was once the Attorney General of the United States! What could that president have been thinking? What could the congress have been thinking? What could the American people have been thinking?

Oh I wish, how I wish, that the Iraqi court would find Ramsey in Contempt and sentence him to a month in the lockup.

To see how his moth eaten suit would look after a month in stir would be hilarious. And can you imagine his whining and sniveling? Priceless.

No better way for the Iraqis to assert that it is *their* country, no matter what some socialist round-eye says.

Watching coverage of the Saddam trial, I thought it was a nice touch that the judge's last words after pronouncing sentence were, "Take him out." I wonder if the judge realized what that phrase means here in the States...

"To cap it all off, in 1967, Lyndon Johnson appointed Ramsey Clark
attorney general of the United States. That alone should have been
enough to never allow another Democrat in the White House. In fact,
that should be its own chapter:"

"Chapter 2.1
Under the Democrats, Ramsey Clark was made attorney
general of the United States.
The End."

The judge told him in Arabic: "No, you are the mockery ... get him out, out."

You ask: "What's the scoop on this guy" ????????? *********************************** Abdul Rahman then shouted in English: "Out! Out!" "You come from America and ridicule the Iraqi people," he said.

Brahahaha

The Rats are trying to say the pubbies had some kind of influence on the trial - The only American involved is the LEAD lawyer FOR Saddam - and he got his as* booted.

Gotta love it.

You want the scoop? Here's one photo for you to ponder on:

Anti war rally 1972, Washington: Speaking: Clark. on his right, John Kerry

Getting the picture?

Then the famous photo of Clark, Kerry and Fonda together at the rally - getting very hard to find on line now - question: have the Rats been systematically culling the net to deep six such photos? Does anyone remember the irate Harold Ford, jr busting a gasket on FOX News over the photo in 2004 - when he was working on Kerry's campaign?

Headlines in NewsMax:

"Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004 4:55 p.m. EST Harold Ford Threatens GOP Over Fonda-Kerry Photo."

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/2/11/170500.shtml

We aught to email our list of media and push them to cover this story - the Iraqi judge booting Clark our and what he said. It'll catch people's ears - and let them wonder why Kerry's (Kennedy's and gang) buddy was the top man in Saddam's DEFENSE team - hello? Can you imagine had he been a pubbie?
