Dobson responded this week that Armey is "a very bitter man" who is still smarting because "I supported my close friend and hunting buddy, Rep. I agree with Dick. The GOP may well fall out of power because of its sucking up to pious self righteous religious leaders like Dobson and Haggard.

Those pushing the politicians in Washington to legislate Christian morality on everyone else will cause a backlash on the GOP just as I predicted in 03.

The religious right has gambled that they have enough numbers to disregard the wishs of small government libertariarn Republicans who wish to see Federal power devoled to the various States. We will reject a national nanny, no matter which political label it wears.
