What's Alia's temperament, BTS?

My gatos. One of the new "orphans": a sleek, sassy, uber affectionate wonder, all black with about 20 hairs indicative of a "ruff" on his upper chest -- I've got to get spayed. Quickly. The other orphan, the Hemingway, is as sweet as any cat could ever be found. This one is best friends with the dog -- who is utterly delighted to have a pal, among the bevy of beasts. The 18-year-olds are still very healthy, the male comfortably and still "king" of the animal kingdom.

You remember those old Snoopy cartoons where he's the "vulture"? Yep.. anywhere between 4 and 6 am each day, he vultures over my sleeping face, yowling that day's a breakin' and it's time to start the day. Some days, 1:30am or 3am, he does it too. The King makes his own rules, I live simply to serve.

As usual, upon my walking the dog each day, we are accompanied by two cats, the King and the BeThumbed, trailing, leading, and lurking about.

My kids have always found orphaned and/or abandoned animals and brought them home... to me, with pleading faces.

Ya had to ask.... :) .
