Suppose Roger Ailes has the mistaken idea the way to put FOX back up in the ratings is to become more liberal? If so, he isn't as smart as I thought he was. Their ratings are going down because they are leaning too liberal (IMO) and I'm sick of the idiots they have as pundits such as Wesley Clark, Laura Schwartz, Bill Kristol, even Mort Kondrake and particularly those guys on the news analysis show on Saturdays like Neal Gabler... I like Brit's analysis group, but this last week was so much improved with Michael Barone on for a change.

Turning Left is pretty stupid. Like it or not, Fox News, as viewed by the Leftists, is extreme Right. So any move to the Left won't be noticed since the Leftists won't watch it, but the preponderance of Fox's audience, the Right, will notice and start turning them off. And the Leftists will still deride "Faux News". Ailes could wind up having Fox News turned off by both ends of the political spectrum!
