Just don't understand windbags like Biden and Graham that have to be on every Sunday.
Do they really think we're listening?
They're just being used by Fat Timmah and Chrissy and Steffy.

Happy Birthday to Laura Bush!!!

Mason Dixon poll on MSNBC shows Corker 50% to Ford %38. and the idiot talker Dn Gilgoff of USNews, blames the playboy ad for Corker's surge.

Tester 47% Burns 47% same Mason-Dixon poll

Northern VA suburbs will win or lose it for Webb

Jennifer Duffy of Cook Report (the republican spokesman), is on for balance, but I just can't decipher what she's saying about the Misouri senate seat.

MSNBC calls Arizona the wildcard tht could deliver Senate to democrats...followed by a question mark.

(I've never seen so many news articles and columns punctuate their bold predictive headlines with cowardly, CYA question marks)

snugs, I am looking forward to your early Day in the Life thread.

That is probably the only place I'll dare to be on Tuesday.

It didn't hurt them one bit in the 92 election, when they managed to get a lot of stupid Republicans focussing on the tax increases, completely ignoring that the House (then democrat) had told Dad Bush that there would be no funding for the troops of Desert Shield if he didn't raise taxes.

one big question for me has been if GW presents a budget for the Iraqi war and the dems cut it, won't it destroy them in 08 if they hold our troops hostage to their political whims?

I dont want to find out. The political quagmire and stalemate that will occur due to loss of the comittees, will be very bad for America. I promised myself I wouldnt worry this election, but Im on pins and needles. I have three midterms this week, one of them on election day and should be studying, but I cant. I just want it over with a GOP retention. But I know it wont be, there will be lawsuits if the Dems dont win a chamber..

It's Haggard and I can't find it yet. While over at cnn.com I did find a poll and voted. I find it hard to believe that almost 1/3 of those who voted did not believe Saddam had a fair trial - I guess I should expect it of the moonbats who read/watch cnn:

Do you think Saddam Hussein received a fair trial?

Yes 68% 15291 votes

No 32% 7092 votes
Total: 22383 votes

Here's what's on CNN.com:
Haggard admits to 'sexual immorality' in letter to his congregation; other allegations may follow
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (CNN) -- Evangelical pastor Ted Haggard confessed to a "lifelong" sexual problem, saying he is "a deceiver and a liar," in a letter read to members of his New Life Church Sunday.

"There is part of my life that is so repulsive and dark that I have been warring against it all my life," he said in the letter.

Haggard apologized to his congregation and asked for their forgiveness in the letter read by Pastor Larry Stockstill, a member of the board of overseers of New Life Church.

On Saturday, the board ousted Haggard from the 14,000-member church, which he founded more than 20 years ago, citing his "sexually immoral conduct."

Haggard took full responsibility for his actions, saying "I am guilty of sexual immorality" and noted that "the things I did opened the door for additional allegations."

He asked the congregation to also forgive his accuser, who Haggard said has revealed "the deception ... that was in my life." (Posted 12:22 p.m.)

...They will be paying back their anti war moonbat crowd.

I think they will dis that crowd.

No one despises democrats and their maniacal, evil socialist agenda more than I do. But, Iraq is not Somalia, and the 'rats understand the threat to our security if Iraq falls under control of radical Islam. The 'rat leadership has been lying about Iraq to turn Americans against GWB and the republicans...so that they can gain majority status.

What? you say, that strategy could get American soldiers and citizens around the world killed!...and your point would be...?

Apples and oranges. Kim Hume's job is not being done away with, but the GM factory workers jobs are because they cannot sell enough cars to keep all those employees working, and still pay their high cost of Retirement and benefits for GM employees. Furloughing employees is a natural order for Companies that do not get a handle on their debit and credit ledgers. Kim Hume's position will have a replacement person because she was not furloughed, her job is still there unlike the GM workers someone will replace her in January,so she was either fired or Quit/retired. GM gave in to the Union Thug negotiators for Decades, and they cannot possibly sell enough Vehicles to make up for all the money they have to put out to retired or retiring employees. Baby boomers are ready, and GM is not.

It's far more unreliable these days, now that cell phone numbers surpass land lines and caller ID is used to screen unwanted callers.

Lots of wisdom in your post. Here on FR we often underestimate just how stupid many or the rat voters really are.

Hmm, I see something different then. He's always chuckling (not a good sign as a lib) and he seems more energized when R's are doing well.

He worked at NPR, but so did Kevin Thomlinson (sp?).

He's not there now.

Rob, don't forget in the House, the Dems start the night down 1---because William Jefferson, D-LA, cannot win a majority and will definitly face a run-off.

I'm sure you're not. That's been their talking point all along - cut and run from Iraq and negotiate w the terrorists. I just can't believe a lot of Americans would buy into their cr*pola

Saying that Kyl's seat is even in play is mornoic, and they know better. They also know, now, that Talent, Burns, Corker, and Allen have all moved into the "safe" range; that Steele is already well ahead and so is Chafee; that Kean is at worst tied, and at best, ahead; and that even Santorum has started moving. Moreover, the stories they WON'T talk about are the MI, WA, and MN stories where, yep, GOP candidates are surging.

As I said yesterday, my earlier predictions of JUST a +1 gain in the Senate may be low. We might be looking at 2, or if Santorum pulls a miracle, as many as four or five!

Yeah I get your drift. Halpern realizes he will probably get more credibility by acknowledging that the left runs most of the media than denying it. But don't look for any changes any time soon.
