Well since Schmucky Shumer is talking about hearings...lets open a hearing on his theft of Michael Steeles credit record.
He was reporting the stats. He was just as surprised as anyone when the early returns started showing Kerry ahead.
I think that he has to be cautious when it comes to results. But in his show, he can ask how accurate are these polls?
Timmy is reading something from the various military Times - what he is not saying is that these papers are produced by Gannett - a left-wing publisher and NOT by the armed services! He also didn't mention the DOD's response to them.

CNN) -- An editorial to be published Monday in independent publications that serve the four main branches of the U.S. military will call for President Bush to replace Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
"Basically, the editorial says, it's clear now, from some of the public statements that military leaders are making, that he's lost the support and respect of the military leadership," said Robert Hodierne, senior managing editor for the publications' parent company Army Times Publications.

Response to Army Times Editorial
Nov. 4, 2006
On Saturday, Nov. 4, the Army Times published an editorial titled, Time for Rumsfeld to go. The editorial included a number of inaccurate and misleading statements.

Russert now discussing what would happen in a Dem controlled House. Asks Rahm E. if impeachment will be an issue. Rahm E. states there will be hearings and oversight - "there will not be impeachment". States the 100-hour plan of Pelosi...
That's not all she's full of! LOL!
Maybe he's trying to get out the vote with that dire news for the GOP so we can prove him wrong? (She said, hopefully.)
for sure SL!!
Something to keep in mind about the "Times" publications.
They are owned and published by Gannett News Service...yup the same folks that bring you USA Today are behind these supposedly "Military Friendly" publications.
So what you're going to get if this actually happens...is the opinion of the Editorial board of USA Today and NOT the view of myself and other soldiers.
Fox let Brit's wife go (she ran the news department) and Brit is doing what he is told to do. murdoch has swung Fox way left. It is undeniable now.

Big tent but you are free to do as you are told.
There are two excellent interviews with Michael Steele on Hot Air One beautiful point that Steele made to a Democratic friend is that if the DNC calls Steele an Uncle Tom, what did the friend think that they called (the friend)? The friend said that he didn't want to even think about that.
Great stuff

Russert now asking for predictions. Repubs Reynolds and Dole believe Senate and House will be held. Schumer and Rahm E. are more cautious...
I really don't anticipate Democrats winning either the House or Senate, but if they do and follow their stated plans, the election in 2008 will be a major confrontation. That's assuming, as well, we have a solid Republican up against the typical Democrat for the presidency.
Thankfully, MTP is over. I feel slightly dazed...
Liddy made up for last week's MTP gaffe's....she was NOT to be denied today, saying Dems appear to be Ok with losing the war.
I got the same feeling watching the last of Fox News Sunday.
Someone needs to unlock Brit's testicles from the safe and give them back to him.
He normally smacks the crap out of Juan and Mara.
That is true. barnes, kristol and Hume were all defeated... until the results started to come in! I have it recorded on DVD!!! I just popped it in and it is truly amazing how defeated Brit was.
LLS
Yeah. And they must have read the NYTimes lead story this morning re: how desperate the GOP is.
;-) The President put it so well by noting how wrong the Democrats were on the economy and why should we believe them about the election.
They call him stupid, but he keeps on winning. LOL
