I believe that he is entitled or allowed to one appeal (under Iraqi law), if he loses that appeal he must be executed within 30 days. I don’t know how long an appeal could take in Iraqi, but it could be a long time before he is put to death.
If Kerry were one of the judges he would have appealed the appeal before he appealed against the appeal.
Im sure an appeal will take forever . I wouldn't get excited about AnYTHING here just yet . I understand he has a second trial as well. This could be a long , long drawn out process. . Keep moving , nothing to see here .
