I believe that he is entitled or allowed to one appeal (under Iraqi law), if he loses that appeal he must be executed within 30 days. I don’t know how long an appeal could take in Iraqi, but it could be a long time before he is put to death.

Throughout the trials, specifically between January and July 1946, the defendants and a number of witnesses were interviewed by American psychiatrist Leon Goldensohn.
