There is no free speech in their Islamic world. There is no freedom of the press.

What really troubles me, is that OUR press was AFRAID to show these cartoons! They have NEVER refused to print offensive material about Christians or Jews, yet on islam they are silent. That should put a chill down everyone's spine!

It was just a couple of weeks ago that either an opera or Shakespearean play had to be cancelled in the US because they didn't like how Islam or Muhammad was portrayed. I knew I should have kept the story but it was so outrageous, I thought everyone would know or remember it.

I told my best friend (good person, but classic liberal) about the documentary on Fox and I commented that I just don't know what the Dems are going to do about this that Bush hasn't already tried. She said, "Maybe there is nothing we CAN do." What a bummer, pissant comment. What defeatism! Is that how half of America thinks? That we are that friggin' helpless and there's nothing that can be done? If she is typical of her party, with this election we do lose the war. Between mental surrender, the willing media's own crusade against Bush (Let's-go-ahead-and-lose-the-war-because-we-hate-Bush-so-bad-that-history-will-blame-the-loss-on-him), and the worthless appeasers in the US-hating UN and Europe, we are toast.
