U.S. Sen. Barack Obama expressed regret late Friday for his 2005 land purchase from now-indicted political fundraiser Antoin “Tony” Rezko in a deal that enlarged the senator’s yard.
“I consider this a mistake on my part and I regret it,” Obama told the Chicago Sun-Times in an exclusive and revealing question-and-answer exchange about the transaction.
In June 2005, Obama and Rezko purchased adjoining parcels in Kenwood. The state’s junior senator paid $1.65 million for a Georgian revival mansion, while Rezko paid $625,000 for the adjacent, undeveloped lot. Both closed on their properties on the same day.
Last January, aiming to increase the size of his sideyard, Obama paid Rezko $104,500 for a strip of his land.

Exactly right. But she must tread cautiously lest Obama drop the race card. Hitlery must keep up her pretense of "bein' for the man" while at the same time twisting the knife in his back.
Let's see...first Warner, then Kerry, now Obama...Hillary's opponents are dropping like flies...Wonder what she has in mind for Edwards, Gore et al. Feingold is already saying he may not run....
Hillary will use this, and if you think there is not more dirt between Barack Hussein Obama and Rezko, I have a strip of land in Chicago to sell you. What the earlier articles about this also revealed is that Rezko paid for a wrought iron fence matching Obamas fence, that Obama pays his gardener to cut Rezko's grass, and other little tidbits that make one believe that Barack and Rezko are much closer than the Senator lets on.

From this particular article is sounds like Obama just purchased land, though be it ajoining land, from Rezko. And whatever he was giving in campaign contributions, Obama later donated the same amount.
Perhaps the links will fill in the blanks for me.

He did say he was "thinking" about running for president. If there is anything to this, it may make him think twice. Of course, he could always play the race card.

Exactly. He's getting rid of this bad news now when nobody is paying attention so later he can say it was all aired in public.
This guy is bad news. They set up his Republican opponent for the Senate in Illinois by buying off his ex wife. She went public with "sex-club" stories to sink him. The MSM demanded he quit, and he did. Obama had only to run against Alan Keys who subbed at the eleventh hour.
They are paving the way for this guy, right into the VP slot. He's gonna run with Edwards in '08. No doubt about it.
The media is greasing the skids. He's in.
In DC, a deal like this doesn't even rise to te level of a parking ticket (especially if you are Democrat). Dream on. LOL!
Maybe Rezko sent him some maids too
