You are right...but, I am sure that if my son had died over there....I would not be afraid...it would be too important to see where he last "lived"...

And I am sure you are right as well.

I think it says a lot that the Kurds have ASKED the USA to build a permanent military base there....

I would sleep better at night if my son were there. That is for sure.

Yes....I pray that your son is okay...I know there is a LOT of tension in anticipation of Saddam's verdict and sentence..

I have to say that jon carry's little stunt last week has truly intensified our respect and prayers for our troops, here on FR...and I betcha it is that way across America right now.
