Dick Morris and David Bossie Unveil New “Wiretap” Ad: Dem Weakness in Fighting Terrorism
CItizens United ^ | Oct. 30, 2006 | Stephen Manfredi

Posted on 11/04/2006 1:08:01 PM PST by FairOpinion

Citizens United, a prominent Washington-based conservative grassroots advocacy organization and its affiliated Political Victory Fund are unveiling a major campaign advertisement targeting Democrats for their staunch opposition to the NSA Wiretap program which authorizes the interception of international communications of people with known links to terrorist groups.

The ad, which was produced by political strategist Dick Morris and Citizens United president David Bossie, premiered on FOX News Channel’s Hannity & Colmes and will be seen nationwide on FOX News Channel in the days before the November 7 th mid-term elections.

“A Democratic Congress would jeopardize our national security and reverse real progress in the Republican War on Terror. The Democrats are more interested in protecting the rights of terrorists than American families,” said David Bossie.

The ad features a dramatized conversation between two terrorists planning a lethal terrorist attack. The conversation is disconnected by Democrats. The script reads:

“This terrorist wiretap has been disconnected by a Democratic controlled Congress. “

“If the Democrats win, the NSA won’t be able to listen as terrorists plot to attack.”

“This year, vote like your life depends on it. Because it does.”

My daughter just called me and told me about Sheps interview and how rude he was to Corker and how he sucked up to Ford.

that it is usually Rs who are more likely, if they vote, to vote their party.

And I'd say that is still true.

I wish the RNC would run a ad showing a very proud Harry Reid proclaiming the death of the Patriot Act. That would make a killer ad.

Yep! You start it with President Bush and that announcement that went something like, "United States and Iraqi forces have killed the terrorist, Zar-what's his face."

Then cut to Harry Reid, "We killed the Patriot Act"

I think if a person thinks about it, Republicans are more civically responsible. I know tons of people who call themselves democrat who never vote. They just run their mouth but are to lazy to register to vote.

Obsession will be on FNC tonight (8 pm ET) and tomorrow night (10 pm) - the times are from memory - so please check your local station. E.D. Hill was talking about it on her show this week and said it is really something - certainly will open one's eyes.

It was awful...and Sheppy just could NOT let the "race" aspect go...he just implied over and over, that there was, is, and always will be a prejudice against black politicians in the Tenn...and that isn't FAIR, to poor, poor, Harold Ford.

Earlier in the day...he had on some young college guys, one Dem, one Rep...and he would say stuff like, "c'mon, you and I both know what people REALLY think, when they see Ford and Corker side by side.....you know that the old biases are ALWAYS on people's minds....you guys know what I am talkin' about, right?"

The guys just sat there and stared at Sheppy...he was SO totally unprofessional...and "redneck" sounding...ugh

Like Chrissy Matthews saying Tenneseans sitting in a roadhouse drinking beer and smoking cigarettes on a Friday night. What a moron.

I have heard primary count was only 15% but cannot
verify. 80% is totally moonbat territory.
If you get 5o%-55% of the total voters out
that's unusually high for the U.S. in any election.

The high absentee vote is going high in Republican
ballots! I don't know if that's true in Tennesee
but nationwide it's republican balloting.
