I think this is the most frustrating thing about President Bush. These are the lies he tells that trouble me the most. I suppose it is like not speaking evil of the dead. Why kick a dead party? Well I think they deserve a kicking because like an evil dead zombie flick they are constantly trying to eat your brains and steal your money.

Yep, I fully agree. He is a good man... And all too kind to his (and Our) enemies.

Oh, I suppose 20% of dems are Patriots and love America more than they hate Bush.... But 80% of them hate America almost as much as they hate Bush

IMO that's not even the reason he says this...he HAS to say it or the MSM would absolutely draw and quarter him!

"I think this is the most frustrating thing about President Bush. These are the lies he tells that trouble me the most.

I think you do not understand the simple rhetorical tropes used by orators since the time of the Greeks and Romans.

What Bush is using is one of the commonest techniques. His purpose is to make the listener think 'what a wimp! of course they're traitors'. By starting the audience to thinking in reaction to what he is saying, rather than baldly stating what he intends the audience to conclude, he moves them to action more effectively.

That's the idea of classical rhetoric.
