To: He Rides A White Horse
Five hundred pounds? You must be kidding.......I wonder what the reaction would have been to my death scream as my kidneys flew across the room.

500 on a machine is different from 500 pounds of free weights. I never got to a point where I could quite deadlift 450, let alone 500. Nor could I squat that high. But I could certainly leg-press with 500 poinds of weights on the sled. I admit that I grunted slightly when I did it though.

I'm old now - I grunt when I have to get out of bed!

500 on a machine is different from 500 pounds of free weights.

The only difference to me is that the 500 pounds on a machine would be different than 500 pounds of free weights crushing my entire abdominal cavity (g).
