Sounds like the Drive Bys are in full panic mode... all their work on behalf of the Democrats may get flushed down the toilet on Tuesday. If the Democrats are going to win big, why is Tom Friedman sounding bothered?

That must be true. Friedman must be scared that the Republicans are going to hold both houses. Otherwise he would be saying things like "Rove to go down in defeat",. or "The public will finally find out that Rove does not have a magic hand."

This smells to me like Friedman thinks the Democrats are going to lose and wants to put the blame on Rove for using the statement made by Kerry to take the Democrats down.

I don't think that what Kerry says will have a huge influence on the election outcome. But if the Democrats lose they certainly would like to make everyone believe Kerry is the reason.
