Didn't a Saturday Night Live Skit have a similar response to Walter Mondale about his pledge to RAISE taxes? "What the hell were you thinking?!!"

Senator Kerry then facing his own Democrat Party, by means of his low quality intelect and obviously lesser performance in educational facilities of great expense and poor rates of sucess, literally powered up a metaphorical telephone whose wires he (Kerry) had attached to the few and withered remaining liberal's genitals, loped off their heads, limbs and in a manner reminiscent of Genghis Kahn, screwed the momentum of that party.
How's about that truth to power, Bunkie?
Does the very special and of course elite junior Senator get a Purple Heart for this bungle?

Earlier this week David Letterman claimed Kerry was such a bad politician he was losing an election he wasn't even running in. . . . . .

Yeah, I caught that to. First clue the author should be ignored as a reliable source. Anyone that knos who Hugh Grant is, and remembers that incident, has it ingrained in their head the question came from Leno. Except this person obviously.
