You know what's funny? On her webpage there isn't email/contact form listed to reply/voice a concern. We dont need to hear from you - we will give you our agenda.

And this: “Democratic priorities are clear: we will fight to get the economy back on track, we will create jobs, and we will help unemployed workers.”

First of all, the economy is doing great, businesses are happy and people are working. But the Democrats want to CREATE jobs, which means they'll need your taxes to pay for it, so they can help unemployed workers. It's really class-warfare at it most evisceral level. Does anyone else see this? Poor and unemployed - UNITE! And overthrow those with capital.

Pelosi: Reconstruction Effort in Iraq on my Face Has Been One of Bush Administration’s Plastic Surgery's Greatest Failures

Much better. That's what she should have said.

"That is asinine! When was that ban passed?"

These unspecified minor construction caps have been the bane to uor existence for years. In fact, I can remember back (10 years or so ago) when the cap was $250K.

One of the huge problems for these minor construction projects these days is that a good bit of your project cost is burned up on geting the contractor to the site in question, especially if you are dealing with a little guy trying to make a few bucks.

Again, we're trying to get the Joint Staff to get it to the right folks in congress to get it fixed.

Fixed your typo:

In the middle east, when blood and sewage flow in the streets, that's perfectly normal as allah wills.

The reconstruction in Iraq, with all the SNAFU's, is better than the way infrastructure is run in CA

Just blow up the existing building then use OMA and call it Repair and Maintenance and spend what you need. Heck, if you leave a big enough hole in a vacant lot, whose gonna know there was no building there before? Use OMA again. HA

She needs to read the first post on this thread which lists what just one group has done in reconstructing Iraq.

I guess it's Viet Nam all over again. Even when we are winning, we must convince people that all is lost.
