Are there double decker buses in Israel? If if there are some, aren't most buses in Israel the modern single level type? Wouldn't it make sense to practice on that type of bus rather then the unusual double decker style?

Hearing about a double decker bus at Salman Pak was an astonishing revelation to me.

Well this camp was set up over a decade ago when that style was more popular. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on this or conclude it was related to the London bombings. None of the bombers were ever in Iraq for training at Salman Pak. The existence of the plane is far more significant as to future intent particularly when combined with the description of the foreigners being trained who were "praying" all the time according to the commander of the installation. And that they were kept totally isolated from the Iraqi trainees.
