I think you are right on it not being over Tuesday night. I don't like the new voting machines. The old ones worked fine. I see many charges of voter fraud come Tuesday night. I am also going to present my drivers license at our polling place just to see if anyone cares.
Well, I've always offered mine at every election and no precinct worker has ever bothered with it. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if precinct workers aren't warned not to look at identifications in case some activist wants to claim the mere act of looking at the license would intimidate other voters without id. They probably would get into trouble if they checked your id. Such is the sad state of affairs in election land.
