As I've posted on other threads, it seems almost all the so-called 'leaders' of the Dimocrat party have been noticeably absent for quite sometime. Except for a few Sumday Talk Show appearances by a few (the usual Levin, Biden, etc.) when have you seen or heard from Stretch Pelosi, Botox Babs Boxer, Plugs Biden, Leaky Leahy, Chucky Schmucky Schumer, etc. and even Hitlery hasn't been in the news that much. I also don't recall seeing Rahm Emmanuel, screeching head of the House Dim CC, or some of the screeching moonbats such as Waters, Conyers, etc. Rangel hasn't been heard from since he called the VP and SOB. They can't afford any soundbites from the Dim leaders. They've been sending Bubba, Gore, sKerry (until the other day) and, of course, 'Rock Star Obamaa'. I think they've tried to make such a big deal of Osama Obama so the others could stay in hiding.
They are running some 'conservative-leaning/sounding' candidates and if any of the normal dingbats come out, it will blow their cover of: I'm a Christian, I believe in guns, I'm pro-life, etc., etc. Plus,it would just remind everyone that they have NO *Plan* they only want to Bash Bush and gain power.
It's also quite interesting to me that for the last 1-2 weeks, Fox & Friends and the show following have had various candidates on. The segments I've seen have had Steele, Santorum, Allen, Allen's wife, and a few others. They always say the opponent was also invited on but declined, didn't return phone calls, or said they had scheduling conflicts. Chris Wallace has Steele on his show this weekend but Cardin declined. It seems to me that not only do the 'leaders' not want a soundbite that might be used 'against' them, the empty suits Casey, Cardin, etc also want to stay low and not have the potential for a bad soundbite that could go nationally. The only one that's been on is Ford, and he used to be on F&F all the time anyway, plus, he's a bit of a media wh*re IMHO
Alia: "Miz Pelosi, what plans do you have for resolving the war in Iraq?"
Pelosi: I hate Bush. I demand he be impeached.
Alia: "Miz Pelosi, what do you think of raising taxes to cut the deficit".
Pelosi: "Bush has put us in a bad situation, economically. I hate Bush."
Alia: "Mr. Reid, what can you say in your defense of the curious land deal"?
Massa Reid: "It's Bush's fault".
Alia: MZrs. Clinton, what a lovely new hairdo. Do you think hairstylists aren't paying their fair share of taxes?"
MZrs. Clinton: Well, they would have been if Bush hadn't thefted the taxations. Now they are going to have to pay twice as much to make up what was lost for social justice. I'll be having to take something from them for the common good. If Bush hadn't stolen the 2000 election, we wouldn't be having to "level the tax playing field" and it's all Bush's fault...
