I thought Mel Brook's Hitler was hilarious.

Then again he was attacked by someone who didn't agree.

Why is it ok to dress up as Hitler or Looter guy but not Osama or a homicide bomber? Because we have our own code of PC? What junk. This kind of attitude is how we end up with hate crime laws and PC BS that's stifling freedom, innovation, and common sense.

I'm not going to dress as Steve IRwin, Bin LAden, Hitler, Moihammed, Jesus or anything like that because I don't want to. But I won't begrudge anyone who does and they shouldn't be punished for it.

You are right, I don't have anyone on the line. But even if I did, I'd still feel the same. Because no one has a right to not be offended by penalty of law.

Dress up as SWAT or Delta. That should even the score.

Nobody's suggesting a law against dressing like an idiot, nor is anyone saying this kid should be disciplined. This is not PC run amock. We're simply expressing outrage and offense.

I think it's important to note there's a difference between dressing as Hitler at a party in 2006 vs. if you had done so in 1942. It's obviously done for shock value, so don't be surprised if people are thoroughly shocked.
