Sure, but I believe that had a lot to do with flying the same flight path too many times and with ground observers in Italy who would notify the Serb military of take-offs (if you know approximately when the aircraft will reach your airspace and its approximate flight path then even stealthy aircraft can be vulnerable. Doesn't mean it has no military value now, but as noted above the maintenance costs are very high and we now have the F-22s which are much better.

Yes... and I think, that was the only time it was shot down by any enemy, and yes, most likely, the Russians got a hold of it, and researched it, but, the US official response was, that we already have 3 rd and 4 th generation stealth technology.
The US knows that the F-117 and the B-2 can be detected under certain conditions by the Russians.... I heard that it can be detected not by radar, but, the radar voids..

By chance. The AA missile battery commander admitted he just fired his missiles into the flight path that NATO aircraft had been using.
