Howie is one old looking dude for a 54 yo.
I'm getting pretty sick of the heralds' bombastic lead lines.
It's like that old Ali G skit where he asks Sam Donaldson if to sell more copies, nespapers should run fake headlines, in big letters i.e. "War Starts", even if there is no war.
Then wehen you go to the page, it says "War starts with a W"
They are pretty embarrassing sometimes. The New York Post could be said to be "bombastic," too, but usually in a better cause and truly witty (I admit I only see what's posted here) -- like its "Dear Jon" with the troops' response to Kerry!
Hmm -- lifelong Dem caller, Teamster, says this is the first time he recalls that the union wasn't really pushing for the Dem. (Public "service" unions are foursquare behind Devall, though -- surprise, surprise!)
Right I'm in properly!
That was a LONG game!
The Israeli team ran us close. We eventually got through 2-0 but they had plenty of chances to score.
Duvall will probably put toll booth in front of every public john. The Patrick 'Full Employment Program!!
fat Ted(the windbag) is against the windfarm. Go fig!!!
But he IS in favour of the propsition to make getting a drink easier!
Imagine.
He hasn't lost all his hair yet, even if it has turned grey.
the chumpline should be good for a few yucks today!
Looking forward to it myself!
And then its NORM!
I'll have you know the name is Gengus!!
Love that: "I was against the apology before I was for it"!
And we didin't go to Cambodia either!!
That news item was big here today too.
The bastard who subjected his daughter to "female circumcision" getting 10 years.
My congratulations to the US justice system.
Though I'd have preferred 20.
I just can't fathom that sick crap goin on.
Hopefully we won't have to worry about that particular sick bastard for a FULL 10 years.
I have a friend who was abused by her father as a child.
As you probably know, I have pretty liberal social views in many areas. But that IS NOT one of them.
He should do every second of that 10 years.
Then be deported.
Yup! When the whip comes down!!!
Norm's not around! S***!
By the way, I believe Howie's an FZ fan!
He had a guy on in 2003 who had done a tour of rock stars graves and he quoted reams of Zappa lyrics when they discussed Frank.
Norm's back YES!
I always liked the" Norm the Axe" episode!
