Sounds like the driver was doing his job. I wonder if her owner beat her for speaking to another male.

If veils are permitted, then one need not BE the person on the pass, one must only be in POSSESSION of it. So passes would be bought, and then simply SHARED among many.
OF COURSE they can't permit this...!
