Holy cow, you MUST WATCH THIS!!!!! Click here.
This one is gonna leave a mark...may be the single best ad of the year. God bless Rick Santorum.
I hope this ad helps Santorum, but you gotta' name names.A blanket accusation is too vague. Rick's ad team should have made the add to run for an extra 15 seconds to give some detail. JMO from a state far away.
Yes, I notice you've been around for a long time, but I also wonder why you take exception to this ad? Why is it icky, if it's true?
Santorum has been one of the most consistently conservative senators in Washington. Why the RNC has decided to underfund him is a real mystery. First they screwed Rick by pushing him to endorse Specter, and then when he did what they demanded of him, they turned around and refused to back him up. I'm afraid some of Bush's professional party advisers just don't like conservatives.
I personally sent a little to his campaign, because I think its crucial that he should be supported.
I don't have to live there to tell you a sucky ad is sucky.
I like Santorum, but this ad sucks. Those are not mutually inconsistent positions.
Troll on.
I agree. Give em hell! I'll drink to that.
I didn't say they were.I said it didn't suck.
Couldn't they find one more level of removal from terrorists? Or did they think thrice removed was enough?
So, as I understand the charge, if true and provable - the state treasurer is supposed to determine who does business with any company who stock is purchased by the pension fund, in order to determine whether any of the other entities with whom the company does business do business with people who support terrorists?
United States > House of Saud > Terrorists is a much more direct link.
Hey, laugh is you like, but grabbing a floozie's ass in Las Vegas helps you win an election! ;-)
This isn't just a new ad, it's a new issue, and the ad doesn't do a good job of explaining what it's about. By using the word "organizations" rather than "companies", it's trying to make people think of Al Qaeda. That's disingenuous.
I think they sell them in 30 second spots and then a minute, also there are not a lot of spots left right now.
Poorly.
One hope for Santorum is that the general public is not a thinking public. If they hear an injured veteran of the war in Iraq say that Casey has given money to terrorists and to remember it on election day....
They just may do it.
I know as I just moved back to PA from NV. Had to get a dig in though!
It's utterly unconvincing. If you're going to accuse your opponent of financing terror organizations, you better have all your ducks lined up and have the ammo. This short ad doesn't convey any of that credibly and is easy to dismiss without specifics.
I like Santorum a lot. I just don't think this ad is convincing, and is icky in that it lobs a fairly absurd sounding accusation without backing it up. A swing and a miss. Intended to make Casey look bad, it ends up making Santorum look desperate, and bad.
Razor sharp dismissal of my comments, pallie.
Excellent!
Well people see these burps at dinner very fast.It will hit where it is suppose to and it looks good to me.
I say the ad royally sucks. So we disagree on that, but agree that we hope Santorum wins.

The picture of his family on his website is beautiful.
Go Santorum!
Casey also supported Kerry's statement.
