It's actually a bit more complex. Supposedly, Casey claims to have written a letter to the Federal Government requesting information as to which companies had a potential terrorism connection. He also claims to have never gotten an answer. But, supposedly, Casey's predecessor did the same thing and got a reply that the information was readily available from other, non-governmental sources. I don't know if this information is accurate, or my recollection of what was said about this issue is accurate. As I said before, this is a more complex issue that can be addressed in a single 30-second ad, and one that should have been raised earlier in the campaign. Now, it comes off looking like a Hail Mary pass.

I'll respond to posts that try and tell me that this ad is fantastic and a winner. I'll keep on responding as long as folks think it's a great ad, or until lunchtime, whichever comes first.
When have I thoroughly trashed Santorum and his campaign? What is your problem? I'm critical of this ad, and I am doubtful of his chances of winning, but I am rooting for him.
This isn't bad behavior. Are all things GOP fantastic to you, or do you at least try and make an effort to see things clearly?
I'm not the only one on this thread criticizing the ad. Do you think we shouldn't criticize the ad? What's your problem?

I've been accused of trolling on this, simply for sharing your thoughts on the adIt's cause you're ALSO a Savage fan! I'm not, so I get a pass from folks like Petronski. You, however, are seen with a certain amount of suspicion. LOL

Exactly, and it would be SO easy for Casey the dimwit to turn this around on Santorum, using the exact argument you just cited.

Is the Dem machine producing over 100% of eligible dem voters in Philly in the last two Presidential elections also icky?

I like the ad. I watched one debate and during that debate, Rick accused him of the very same thing as the ad and backed it up. PA voters who watched that debate will know the ad has merit, and PA voters are the ones who count.
The ad is great!

Folks are forgetting the Specter/Rendell/union caball.
Eddie hates Casey. Specter owes a favor. They both have BIG Philly demoKaRat union back-scratch connections. If the union thugs in Philly "forget" to flip that Casey lever, well... Eddie won't be too p!ssed.
How well Santorum does is going to depend on demoKaRat involvement. And that is NOT guaranteed to go to Casey.
Be ready for some curious poll results.

Nice response. While I disagree with everything you've posted so far on this thread, I admire how you kept your cool and responded with the appropriate fact when attacked with the usual (and typically liberal) ad hominem.

My prediction for a while now has been GOP with 222 House Seats and 53 Senate seats. That was my prediction I sent into Mark Steyn's website for his election contest 'Pelosipalooza!'
