It seems like an interesting path from flying Phantoms to being in Africa on a mission. It is quite impressive in my opinion.

Yes....he's had an interesting life.  I respect him a lot...and he's my adopted father, having met my mother after I was born so it's not a respect based on genes. He actually earned it.

He has only a couple character flaws that I can think of.  As opposed to me:  I'm rife with them.
