Sabato's prediction from election day 2004

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1266272/posts

he hedged with the electoral college as a tie, but that it could go either way. In the end he missed two states, Florida for Berry and WI for Bush

That seat was open but not GOP. Ward succeeded longtime Democrat representative Rom Mazzoli.

Finn, that is bull. On his website at 1pm he predicted a Kerry win of 300+ electoral votes. My god what is wrong with you. Do you work for Sabato?

On election day 2004 Sabato was quoted as saying the pro-Kerry landslide exit polls were out of whack.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1267236/posts

Larry Sabato was just on one of the DC-area local stations, and just said something shocking - the reason it took forever to call Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina is that the exit polls had them for Kerry.

For Kerry!

Sabato also said that the exit polls also had at least two other states "wrong" — which is not to say they had the wrong winner, but that they had results that were immediately detected as out of whack

Finn, it is obvious you are affiiated with Sabato or you would not be defending him so much.

I will email Jmarone and others who have links to Sabato on 2004. Larry even apologized on Fox News the day after Election 2004.

Finn good luck to you. Time is too precious to waste on those who do not have their facts straight.

I don't know which of you two is correct, but one thing I note as an impartial observer. One of you has been courteous and provided evidence to back up his position. The other has been disrespectful and childish, and has offered absolutely no evidence to support his position. And that's all I'm gonna say about that! . . . :-)

Sabato is not above bias.

He actually managed the campaign of a Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate in the 1970s.

Here we are facing the most important elections of our lifetime during a war on terror and the possible election of a socialist Appeaser speaker, and Timmy is worried about blog manners.

Sorry Tim, if I am emotional about the support of our troops.

But hey Have a nice day, see you in ethics class friend.

Interesting.

I've been stuck on 230 Dems for five weeks.

Not long to wait, now.

Just did a google keyword Search on Sabato 2004 Predictions, that shows several articles from credible outlets, showing Sabato blew the 2004 Prez race.

Although he tries to conceal it, she said Sabato is a very partisan Democrat.

I think we can see a glimpse of that in his comments about Santorum.

The polls are more accurate during Presidential election years. Turnout is always the most difficult variable to calculate. In 2006, turnout will be the deciding factor.

post the links

none you will find show Sabato said it would be a Kerry landslide the day of the election. In fact Sabato called an electoral tie the day before and the day of the election he said exit polls showing a kerry landslide were wrong.

My links showed that.
