While discussing the Medicare Part D prescription drug program, Harris stated that Nelson voted against it. Russert turned to Nelson, who said, "I have no idea what she is talking about." Everyone (Harris, Russert, and the audience) were aghast. Nelson had drifted off to Neverland, with visions of sugarplums dancing in his head. He had checked out of the program, lost in space.

Nelson really doesn't look well either.

I haven't seen a single Harris commercial on TV. Sad. She'll get the true believers' votes, but she has done very little to make inroads.

Why is she losing? Do people not like her? She is a republican, so what's the problem?

"The word is not mistake, the word is misrepresentation," Nelson said of what lawmakers were told about weapons in Iraq. "We were given the wrong information. We were given massaged information."

You lying scum!

Sadly Nelson shows many signs of Dementia, especially where he drifts back into his Florida Cracker accent which seems exaggerated, but is how he used to speak. He is talking slower, and really seems to have a hard time finding the word/words to say.He also looks gaunt, thin, spacey and IMHO it looks like he is forgetting to eat which is typical of Alzheimer's Patients. They either eat and think they did not and try to eat twice, or their Brains do not signal them to feel hunger. I believe the Dems have been sliding him through and hoping they can win the Governorship,so when he goes any further South Mentally they will let him retire and they would appoint a Dem Senator in his place. I have never seen him look so bad,and he stares off blankly into space in the Political Ads.

It's shameful the way the Republican party in Florida turned its back on Katherine Harris senate run. I know some Republicans that are voting for Nelson just because the media says he would be a better senator and is good for the space program. They know nothing about Nelson's record and don't care. Jeb has been a great Governor but I give him a big “F” on the way he's letting Nelson hang around like some kind of hanging chad for another six years.

Sorry But I am disappointed in Harris. Watching the debate now on MSNBC. After the first question I am disappointed. When asked if Rumsfield and Chaney are doing a great job she only says Rumsfield is doing an adequate job and goes on to critiques and say how he should do his job.

She does know she is a Republican and should be supporting the President, Rumsfield, and Chaney instead of making the statements she is now. Whose side is she on?

I live in Florida and will cast my vote for Harris. That being said, I couldn't bear to watch this debate for very long. Both Harris and Nelson are complete airheads.

Huh? Was Harris wrong in what she said? I don't get it.

Florida debates? Awful.

First major debate - a PBS liberal asking the questions. Second major debate - an ABC liberal so unprepared he must have gotten his dem "talking points" in the cab on the way to the debate. And now, last night, an NBC liberal.

Two out of three of these so called journalists worked for democrats before they became "objective" members of the MSM.

Change is needed.

It's not fair. Liberal moderators didn't ask my questions, address my concerns, or follow up on the answers I care about.

What would it be like if the tables were turned?

Rove would be the moderator for the first debate.

Rush would moderated the governors debate.

And Brit Hume would run the Harris/Nelson debate.

Would liberals show up for those debates? No, they would not... Dems wouldn't put up with that level of unfairness. Why do we?

Two against one wouldn't work for them. Why does it work for us?

Dems would object if Rove was a moderator, and their friends in the MSM would scream like a stuck pigs for them. We need to object when it's Chris Matthews.

Next time? Next time, demand fairness. No to being double teamed. No to that level of bias. No to both sides answering the questions only liberals care about.

No advantage, just fairness.

I thought she was brilliant! She wiped the floor with him.

Nelson is the creepiest mutant in politics. I can't believe anyone would vote for him. Russert's quesitons were so biased it was shocking.
