Sinclair's mice took such high doses of resveratrol that it would be the equivalent of an adult drinking 100 bottles of wine daily. I can only drink 3 a day but I'm working on the other 97.

Huge amounts of a red wine extract seemed to help obese mice eat a high-fat diet and still live a long and healthy life, suggests a new study that some experts are calling "landmark" research. The big question is, can it work the same magic in humans? It's worked for Ted Kennedy.

The lamestream media reports 2- to 3 years too late. These studies about resveratrol were well known overseas for a long time.
As usual the FDA, the media and their cohorts are well behind the health 8 ball.

It has worked for me, I'm 75 pounds overweight and drink hard everyday. I am 37 years old and don't look a day over 74.

I've been waiting for science to finally bear out my Gin & Tonic diet. Its about time my taxpayer investment in the National Institute of Health has paid off. I'm sure somewhere this research was paid for with an NIH grant.

The question the article doesn't answer is, how much of this stuff do the humans have to take? Saying "the equivalent of a hundred bottles of red wine" isn't very specific. I'm looking for a specific number of milligrams. The pills usually available have about 25 mg per pill and I'm betting that's nowhere near enough.
