Exactly. It is not a direct apology, not even much of an apology. Someone else probably wrote it and posted it.

I agree. I don't want no stinking written statement. I want to see the guy move his lips and say "I'm Sorry".

As far as I know the "statement" was probably written by one of his political interns!
