Nick Spano used to be a pretty good legislator, but he "grew in office" like Patakifeller and so many ohter New York "Republicans."

"To check the addresses, first-class letters are mailed to each person on the list, and if they are returned as undeliverable, the police are sent to the address to check if the voter still lives there."

That doesn't work. I get mail at my home addressed to three previous occupant, one who lived here 15 years ago. I toss 'em. For a year, I forwarded mail sent to the previous owners of the house. They called me and whined that I was sending them junk mail. So I toss all the mail addressed to them, too.

Our local democratic board of elections does some insidious things.
I sent a change of address notice in about 6 months ago.
A week before the primary, I still hadn't received my new voter card, and in our county you must present your voter card and a picture id to vote. I called them, eventually ending up with the head registrar. She said yes they had received my change of address request, But i was listed as inactive - even thought I vote in every election, so they didn't mail me a new card. They said there wouldn't be time to get me a new card before the primary. I said you had better send me a document that allows me to vote, or I would complain to the state board of elections. She then agreed that she could get me a temporay letter of registration. Oh the joys of being a Republican in a democratic majority state ( Florida has more dems than repubs.) I'm sure that being on the inactive list, my votes would have been challenged in the general election.

So all one needs is to have a bona fide voter at a legal address - and let people from anywhere use the address - not much of a check and balance system,...This is undoubtedly a very effective fraud scheme.

I get mail at my address for a grandson in the service for a son whose job takes him across the country on his job and for my daughter and son-in-law - he's "on Loan" to the RCAF in Nova Scotia as a flight instructor - but it's beneficial to have my US address for many transactions. But their legal voting addresses are not here.
