I think you may be proven correct in a few races, such as in RI and CT. But by and large, I don't see any sudden rush to embrace conservative values on the part of the GOP. Once the election cycle is over, it'll be back to business as usual: lots of rhetoric and little action.
I will say this to the GOP's credit, though. They are showing that they're capable of engaging in a political scrap.
