U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, made the following statement regarding Senator John Kerrys recent remarks disparaging members of the U.S. military.
The members of the United States armed forces are the best trained, best equipped and best educated fighting force in the world, and it is shameful that a senior Democrat Senator would make them the butt of an apparent joke at a political rally. Sadly, this is not the first time Senator Kerry has disparaged the men and women in our military. Less than two years ago, he accused our troops of terrorizing Iraqi children remarks not dissimilar to his Vietnam-era testimony before the Senate in 1971. No one is lying about or distorting Senators Kerrys remarks as he would have us believe. Senator Kerrys remarks yesterday were clear and they were shameful. He owes the brave men and women in our military a very sincere apology.
Ditto, I am glad he is from Texas.
Last time I looked we have shoreline from the Mexican border to the Louisiana border...but of course it's not the Pacific ocean where you can freeze your a$$ of the 4th of July!!
The two Mass-Holes, Kennedy and Kerry, are hard to beat.
not true, the MSM will start to drop this tomorrow, the questions will not be asked...the dems running will get a pass from the MSM
Agreed.....kerry-boy you are no soldier, I know many soldiers...and you sir are no soldier. Resign and live in disgrace for eternity....
An honorable soldier would take responsibility and drink his medicine.....
"Plus, they're going to have to either support Kerrys stupid rationalization about it being a "botched joke", or make up their own defense."
Weasley Clark is on FNC spinning it and some other Dim said earlier "Kerry isn't running for anything" so (paraphrasing), we need to move on. Then they talk about the Admin and how bad the war in Iraq is going, trying to take the spotlight off sKerry and put it back on Bush and the 'failure' in Iraq.
Amen, John! AMEN!!!
Thanks for the info Stoat, sounds like a great idea. Actually, by rocky shoreline I was meaning cliffs and little coves etc with at least some beach.
DEMOCRAT CHANCES IN 2006
Me, too!
The two Mass-Holes, Kennedy and Kerry, are hard to beat.
If these two "geniuses" were from Texas their political "careers" would not have risen above stealing yard-signs.
Cornyn is a leader, unlike John kerry, who needs to step down!!
they won't be able to help themselves. the only thing the MSM loves more than helping liberals while hurting conservatives is controversy. any kind of controversy.
The MSM is no longer the only game in town. Their readership and viewership decline monthly; they're not called the dinosaur media for nothing.
They do not drive the debate like they used to, instead, the blogosphere now plays that role. The MSM will try like mad to sweep this under the rug, but their containment efforts don't work like they once did, and most voters have heard what Kerry said already. The MSM won't be able to put this genie back in the bottle.
