Moreover, he is an absolute hypocrite: he, Kerry, was a lousy student - with lower GPA and SAT (equivalent) than GW - who has no intellectual pretensions.

At the institution I teach at we have a lot of military students from a nearby base, plus we ofer telecommuting classes for the guys on base..
While some libs treat these men with the respect the deserve others simply cannot hide their disdain for all things military. They truly believe that every man or woman in uniform is their intellectual inferior. They openly insult the U.S. military every chance they get, even in the classroom in front of these guys. I really don't know how the guys put up with it....
However, in my classroom you would be amazed at how easy it is to tell military from non-military students. Granted, these young folks may be just a couple years older than their non-military peers, but they are a full decade wiser and more mature than your average 20 year old college kid.
I'll take the military kids in my classroom any day of the week. They are serious, motivated individuals. And yes John Kerry, the servicemen and women I teach generally score higher on exams and assignments. Of course not all get "A"'s, but I'd still put the vast majority of the military students I get in the top quarter or top third of each class I teach.
I probably should breakdown my gradebooks for the past few semesters just to illustrate the point..
Simply put, these are not "stupid" young men and women by any stretch of the imagination. To even suggest such a thing is frankly disgusting and an insult to every young man who is defending our freedom this evening.
