Is that an Imperial Disambiguator?

It does look like something out of a Star Wars movie, but it's very real.

It's a German giant bucket-wheel excavator, used for mining coal. They are the largest land-based machines in existence, and cost $100 million apiece. This one was being moved to another mine, and they figured it was more cost effective to drive it cross-country than to disassemble/reassemble it.

The road crossing gives a sense of scale so you can see just how hugh-mongous they are. Let me tell you, the environmentalists' beebers are stuned in Germany over these things!
