The President needs to continue to fire up the base and no doubt Tony Snow will have crafted an artful comment for him. This keeps loser Kerry in the headlines which is all good.
I predict the President will come out with "that look" on his face (the one with the squinty eyes) and make a brief statement which will knock our socks off and then leave the podium without questions. I love it when he does that.
No doubt in my mind that Tony is the one behind this. I'm really curious to see what tone he uses.
Will it be red meat for the base? Will it be the new tone?
I agree that this moment may decide a few races out there.
Snow and Rove will handle this just fine. The President is in good hands.
