Pollster Frank Luntz on H&C tonight agrees with you and said this will mobilize the pubbie base as no other. The fact that Reid/Pelosi and other party leaders haven't come out to denounce it may have the opposite affect with the dem base. I doubt they're buying that the statement was a 'poor joke' from a man who was their nominee in 2004. Never thought our October surprise would come from a dem.
