one can of whoop A$$ coming up....
awesome....
But remember what Ray Kroc said: "If my competitor were drowning, I'd throw him a lifeline."
We aren't rabidly negative. We recognize a war when we see one and insist on engaging.
On the wonderfully clear Halloween of 1998 we assembled next to the Washington monument, 5,000 of us, and called for the impeschment of Bill Clinton . Jim led us in waves of "IMPEACH, IMPEACH, IMPEACH."
On that day, in that place...... we became FReepers.
We celebrated with pizza and fantastic conversation.
If the media won't do it then send your own damn people down there with a camera to get their answer.
ROFL!! Merrily .. merrily... we Kerrily FReep.
in time to make the evening news
"Slapping the village idiot around doesn't make you look big or noble, it just makes the idiot look more important than he really is. And any time the President gets involved in anything it directs some of the light on him just because of his office. And I think that more than a few Americans are feeling the need to defend the honor of the military, and that might be reflected at the voting booth."
I disagree - keep it alive and ride it until the mid-terms. Kerry has given the Republicans a gift. He has just thrown an interception into the end zone and Bush is about to run it back for a touchdown.
OMG I need a new keyboard.....AWESOME
Put Kerry up against Lynn Cheney. She would call him a traitor to his face.
The best thing is that they are convicted out of their own words.
And I hope W reminds everyone that the real Dem plan for Iraq (as opposed to the empty platitudes contained in their platform) is 'Saigon 1975'.
Political victory at home via defeat abroad, a textbook case of treason.
I wonder if Katie will find time for it in her broadcast. Of course since no one will be watching I guess it doesn't matter.
IMHO the MVP of the Administration this year has been Tony Snow. I trust his media knowledge and skill completely, and it appears the President does as well.
I am eager to hear what the President has to say, but with the Snowman advising him on this there is no doubt in my mind that we will not be disappointed. 'Rat candidate in close elections have to be dreading this response to Kerry.
Rove, you magnificent bastard!
I am not all to sure this is a good idea. It will be interesting to see how he responds to this. He often takes the more honorable approach to things, I could see him accept the non apology. We'll see. Prayers
I guess that Karl is in ecstasy. When a Texan puts the smack on an effete East coast snob, it's got to leave a mark.
"Our President lets alot of stuff roll off his back, but not when it involves the troops. I think he is mad as hell and will come out swinging."
That's what I believe this is all about. President Bush will probably come out swinging and say that if John Kerry wants to attack him as president, he can do it all day long, but if he attacks the troops...the gloves are off!!
Gosh we may set a record for LIVE threads today...LOL
Tony Snow's....Kerry's...and now President Bush's.
: And how many times has Bush ended up winning? Is there any possibility that he knows something you don't?"
Yes...
