It was on the written page from which he was supposed to read, and he apparently left out "getting us" before he said .. stuck in Iraq .. completely changing the statement. He says he was making a bad joke about Bush .. hence, where the full statement says "intellectually lazy" .. and then continuing onto what was in the complete speech: AND getting us stuck in Iraq.
I DO believe it was designed to be a vicious attack on Bush's intellect that he screwed-up (and I say again: thank you, Lord).
I am waiting to see the President on Fox.
