I think the DNC is more worried about him taking down other Dems with him, more than Kerry's personal standing.Yeah, this does have the markings of the mother of all last-minute political commercials. Air this blurb from Kerry and remind voters that this guy was the Dem nominee in 2004 - so what does that say about the Dem candidate in the voter's district?
