I just spoke with his Washington office, not 5 minutes ago, and the person on the phone said he has no intention of apologising to those in the Armed Forces. Then he should be made to leave office with a military escort!
To: Hildy
Oh good, now he's going to inform the rest of the country, those who don't follow the news except for headlines, exactly what it is he said!!!! Exactly. The mainstream media would have helped to keep it quite, but now Kerry is going to let it all hang out!!!!

The over/under on the "Taken out of context" in Kerry's statement to the press is five.
Ante up!

Kerry is worried, the Democrats are worried. This comment is going to hurt them and they know it. That's why I love the political season. You never know what is going to pop up right before the election. This story would have been the lead for maybe a day but with this press conference it has the potential to be a 2 or 3 day story. And...it hurts the Dems.

He is going to back-peddle and the MSM will desperately try to "move the story along."

Yale grades portray Kerry as a lackluster student
''I always told my Dad that D stood for distinction," Kerry said yesterday in a written response to questions, noting that he has previously acknowledged that he spent a lot of time learning to fly instead of focusing on his studies.

Is he also going to apologize for (all just today) calling Tony Snow a "stuffed shirt" and a "mouthpiece"? For calling Rush Limbaugh a "doughy... Republican hack?" For accusing Republicans of getting soldiers killed by sending them to war "without body armor"? Don't hold your breath.
