Well, when I decided I'd like to open up a big ol' can o' whupp ass on Perry, I contacted Strayhorns campaign about that property tax "decrease", the buck a pack cigarette tax and all those other WONDERFUL things those clowns in Austin did for us and her son assured me that she would recind all of that. Then I started watchin' Kinky. I don't even know why I put Strayhorn in my post. Shoot! I'm votin' for Kinky! Why?....well why not? LOL

Kinky is a pro-abort pro-gay marriage clown who
would have definitely, like Foghorn-Leghorn-strayhorn,
come out of an education finance sessions with a *less* taxpayer friendly bill than Perry.

Perry's not only the only ral conservative, he actually has some positive accomplishments to lean on.

You forget that the courts had the gun to the state leg on this, and it could have been a lot *worse*.

Perry staved of general sales tax increase (Craddick's idea which would have cost GOP the statehouse), he staved off educrats attempt to raid $5-8 billion for educrat, and he got guarantees on the property tax reductions. ... and he got bipartisan cover via Sharp commission for just about the best deal taxpayers could have hoped to get. The business taxes are broader, but rates are not higher (economists like that), it hits business not the people directly (less chance of populist demagoguing on that), and it balances out and ends Robin Hood.

Not perfect, but I think people are being quite ignorant if they think it's a bad solution ... Strayhorn or Kinky or Bell have a *better* idea??!? I NEVER HEARD IT FROM THEM WHEN THE TOUGH DECISIONS WERE BEING MADE!

Like I said Kinky's a joke. if the office was 'court jester' I'd vote for him ... but egads not for Governor.
