I have read that he gained US citizenship around 2000. He's still ignorant of the facts, and his past admissions vis-a-vis going off meds make the whole issue of his tremors in the ad suspect, but he does appear to have a legitimate voice in the US political realm.

Talking to friends on this subject, I noted that every one of them had seen the video clip of Rush waving his arms, etc.

NONE of them had heard his words.

This is how propaganda works. The amazing thing is how well orchestrated the media is.

He has dual citizenship. And he has every right to comment on the election and/or endorse a candidate. But in so doing, he opens the door to be criticized and or at the least challenged to defend his position. That fact seems to escape the liberal media. IMO, Rush's body language on the ditto cam was wholly inappropriate. Whether we agree with someone on a political issue or not, mocking mannerisms of teminally ill patients isn't ever appropriate.

As to what Rush said, he was right on the money. Unfortunaltey, the histrionics of his presentation were the story in the MSM.
